Description
Prop adapters are required to mount a propeller either on an electric motor or gearbox shaft. The shafts are usually smooth, and there are two types of adpater: those attached with a grub screw, and those that use a collet type action to grab tightly onto the smooth shaft. Those coloured red below are in stock – the $9 version are new, limited stock.
The collet type are featured here – both the standard short type, and the long versions. There are also huge prop adapters for motors with 8mm and 10mm shafts – see these on a separate listing.
Following are the sizes of the collet type – the motor shaft size is specified, and the outside diameter of the shaft of the prop adapter as well.
