Dymond D47 servos are finished and Discus Launch and E-RES pilots are crying in their beer. But wait! KST has produced a viable alternative, the KST X06 – and a marked improvement on the specs of the D47! It is a new 7 mm thin servo weighing only 6.4g. Perfect for discus launched gliders (DLGs), smaller models and especially E-RES. The extremely slim casing is crafted from 7075 aluminium alloy; they look great and are also very rigid and robust.
The KST X06 has a hardened steel drive train and a coreless motor capable of running all the way from 3.8V to 8.4V (1S to 2S LiPo) making these WV (wide voltage range) servos that will deliver the power and reliability you need. It has more torque on a 2S LiPo than a KST X08 has on a 1S battery!
Not only a metal case, ball raced, metal gears and more power, but digital and a wide operating voltage! Yes, one ball race on the output and hardened metal gears – compare with the analogue D47 with plastic gears and no ball race – and double the power!
The accessories include four strong nylon output arms, two double sided, and two single sided, one of which is low profile. This means that when the servos are mounted one in front of the other the control rod of the front one won’t foul the rear one.
