Being inner-runners, they overcome all the problems with fitting a motor to a narrow glider fuselage. There are no external moving parts to worry about! The ESC connects to the cables that come out the back of the motor.
This motor is a long, thin inner-runner for heavy gliders. Are you converting a winch launch glider to electric – then this is the motor for you! Several F5J fliers have successfully converted winch launch gliders to electric power for F5J, and they end up quite heavy – sometimes up to 2.4kg. This motor will power such heavy gliders successfully!
